Great Offseason Waves in Nicaragua

We’ve been experiencing a few solid bumps over the last couple of weeks right down the beach from Suyo Cabañas Popoyo. The sand bars at Playa Santana are creating fun peaky waves consistently. Of course the wind continues to blow solid offshore and will continue to blow strong until March. I would definitely recommend packing a topper and a perhaps a spring suit if you’ve got one, the water has been a tad chilly.  That being said there is hardly a cloud in the sky and plenty of sun to warm up after your session.

Surf at the end of the rainbow. Looks like there is a solid swell filling in starting Tuesday of next week, the 14th.
